Deswegen war fr\u00fcher schon viel dar\u00fcber spekuliert worden, dass der Album-Titel von einem Song stammt, der es \u2013 aus welchen Gr\u00fcnden auch immer \u2013 dann nicht aufs Album geschafft hat. Dass Musiker mehr Songs f\u00fcr ein Album aufnehmen, als letztlich ver\u00f6ffentlicht werden, ist nicht wirklich ungew\u00f6hnlich. So sollen auch f\u00fcr Kates Album \u201eHounds of Love\u201c deutlich mehr Songs produziert worden sein, die dann m\u00f6glicherweise in irgendwelchen Archiven verschwunden sind. Ob Kate Song-Ideen recycelt, ist wenig bekannt. Ein Beispiel daf\u00fcr gibt es allerdings: Der urspr\u00fcnglich f\u00fcr den Disney-Film \u201eDinosaur\u201c komponierte Song \u201eOut of the Storm\u201c wurde Jahre sp\u00e4ter zum Song \u201eLyra\u201c f\u00fcr den Film \u201eDer Goldene Kompass\u201c. Interessant an Powells Aussage ist noch ein ganz anderer Punkt: dass \u201eNever For Ever\u201c urspr\u00fcnglich f\u00fcr das von ihm produzierte zweite Album \u201eLionheart\u201c gedacht war. Genau das k\u00f6nnte der Grund sein, warum es der Song dann doch nicht aufs dritte Album geschafft hat. Kate hat das dritte Album selbst produziert, es klingt komplett anders, als ihre beiden Vorg\u00e4ngeralben.
